find my grandfathers family

Good morning my name is Neoma and I have joined your group and would like to know what would be the best access to his ancestry from Spain. His name was Maximo SanRoman and he lived in Tianguistengo, Hidalgo Mexico. He was born about 1850 in What I believed that was his birth place. He was a Merchant and married my great grand mother Daria Manuela Roubinet Soto in 1871. I do not have any other information to provide me with hints as to where to find any other details of his where abouts. I would love to add him to my lineage of family but want to have the correct information before I do anything else. Thank you for your assistance.
