Why my dna results (Ethnicity) doesnt match my ancestry?

I don't understand why my "Ethnicity" doesn't match my family tree? My DNA test (My Heritage) says i am Italian and Spanish with 0% French but my family tree says I am French since at least 1550 (Aquitania). Shouldn't I be at least a bit French? Surely there is a logic explanation but it doesn't make sense to me.

You have many French DNA matches.

The logical explanation is that MyHeritage's ethnicity estimates are extremely approximative. Their genetic groups, on the other hand, tend to be much more accurate. Ignore the ethnicity estimate and focus on the matches.
